Iron dragon games

Upgrades allow you to carry more goods or go faster. You continue to expand your network trying to connect seven of the eight major cities. On your turn you may also switch your foreman.

After completing a delivery you turn in that card and get a new one. The deck of new delivery cards also contains Event Cards. These represent random happenings in the world. Many cause players in certain regions to lose a good and a turn. Other Event Cards can cause rivers to flood and destroy track or not allow players to switch foremen. You can even build rails to different ports and take ships to other ports. This can be helpful and less expensive then building track to more remote areas.

For example, a player using an elf foreman can build to forest mileposts for 1 gold piece instead of 2. Players can build track to and from seaports, and hire ships with varying speeds to ferry their trains from port to port.

This can be a cheap, efficient way to deliver loads early in the game, without building much track. So, is it a good game? Yes and no. Iron Dragon is a computer version of a very good board game and is a sequel to Empire Builder, another fantastic board game turned to PC.
