Transportation expenses shall be reimbursed at the IRS published rate for travel by personal vehicle but shall not exceed the cost of the lowest practicable airfare. The CEO may specify a more restrictive arrangement. All licenses expire on December 31 of the year they are purchased. Beginning December 1st, memberships and licenses can be purchased that will expire on December 31st of the following year. There are no refunds for memberships or licenses.

If you are a collegiate race member only and another racing license is added later, the rider will only need to pay the price difference of the two. Collegiate race licenses are only valid for use in collegiate events. An annual race license is required for entry into all other category races. You may apply the cost of your beginner one-day race license to the cost of your annual adult race membership. To receive the discount, the one day license receipt must be attached to the annual membership application at the time of purchase.

The one day license and annual membership must be for the same rider. The one day license application must have been purchased within twelve months of the annual license purchase. For an online annual membership purchase, the one day license application must be mailed to USA Cycling and a refund will be issued.

Only one discount per adult annual membership per year will be issued. The discount does not apply to International, Collegiate, or Junior licenses. One-day licenses or annual memberships are required for Training Rides, Camps, and Clinics. Passionate riders from around the country are what make cycling special.
